Posted 2/2/10 Richard Hiatt 383-0001 (Office) 987-2724 (Home) NEW VIENNA LIONS CLUB PANCAKE DAY – FEB. 6th - CHANGED TO FEB. 13 (New Vienna, OH) – The public is invited to the New Vienna Lions Club’s annual Pancake Day on Saturday, February 13th from 8:00 AM. to 2:00 PM. Bring the family for an all-you-can eat meal of pancakes, pork sausage, home-made biscuits, gravy, juice, milk and coffee. Prizes and raffles will add to the fun. All proceeds will be contributed to the community (visit www.newvienna.net to learn more). The event will occur at the New Vienna Fire Station on Rt. 28, 1-mile west of town. Meal prices are $5.00 for adults and $2.50 for children 12 and under. Tickets are available from N. V. Lions Club members or can be purchased at the door. With the funds raised, Lions Club members will volunteer their time to support Kamp Dovetail, the New Vienna library, community improvement projects, and to provide eye glasses for those in need. Posted 4/3/07 Tornado Shelter--The New Vienna Church of Christ at the intersection of South and West Streets has been designated as a tornado shelter for area residents who do not have an adequate (safe spot) at their location. This shelter will be activated when a severe thunder storm warning and or tornado warning is issued for Clinton County. No pets can be accepted at this shelter. Posted 3/30/06 New Vienna Senior Citizens serves lunch every Tuesdays and Thursdays. Carry out is available call 987-2915 New Vienna Methodist Church provides a food pantry on the 4th Saturdays of the month, from 11am-1pm. Call 987-2800 for more information. |
